Collaboration for CTE: Establishing Teams Through a PLC Model




This full-day session will provide Career and Technical Education teachers with the foundational information and skills needed to establish meaningful professional learning communities that supports course, program, and teacher professional learning goals. During our time together, we will: • Construct purpose for collaborative teams. • Learn the processes and skills for establishing successful CTE teams. Time, space and resources will be provided for teachers to dialog within school and region “job-alike” teams to share curriculum, instruction and program initiatives that support the continual growth of all CTE students. Our presenter is Wendy Custable. She is the author of the book "Collaboration for Career and Technical Education". Attendees will receive a copy of the book to take with them as a reference.
