Social Studies Virtual Summer Series - Episode 2

Back by popular demand, the Social Studies Virtual Summer Series is back for another summer. For Episode 2, Echoes & Reflections, the premier source for Holocaust educational materials, will be here to help us understand one of the most pressing issues we face today. Media literacy skills have become essential for young people to successfully navigate the ever-increasing amount of information they receive throughout their day--especially on social media. Therefore, it is crucial for students to identify how media can be used as a tool to incite hate and violence against certain groups. This session will examine the events of the Holocaust through the lens of media, by examining Nazi propaganda used during that time.
