Spice up any lesson - Experience some amazing ways to use emojis in the classroom (Asynchronous Learning)




Learning new and difficult things can be boring or hard for some students, and engaging them can be daunting for a classroom teacher, but not impossible. Students have been communicating with emojis for a long time. Why not use them to achieve classroom learning? This session will show creative ways to motivate students in all content. Participants will leave with lesson starters, free tools, templates, websites, and lesson ideas to take back and use on the first day back to school, in between, and on the last day. This course is set up to be interactive as participants will discuss and collaborate while learning together. Explore how you can engage students in new ways and create more dynamic learning for your students. Join our Google Classroom to access resources and collaborate with other teachers; a code will be emailed to you after registration! Be looking for the code in the email! This class will be asynchronous allowing you to learn at your own pace.
