Finish Strong: Teaching Sectionalism, the Civil War, and Reconstruction




Let's meet and plan out your final three units of the year in 8th Grade US History--Sectionalism, the Civil War, and Reconstruction. Attendees will create an overall plan to finish the year strong, while also allowing plenty of time to review before the STAAR exam. Using backwards design, each unit will be strategically organized by content--with engaging activities and spriralled review strategies incorporated throughout. It's time to kick it into high gear!
