Federal law requires IEP goals address critical needs that:
- are a result of the student’s disability, and
- enable the student to be involved in and make
progress in the general education curriculum.
Join me as we dive into the TEKS Process Standards and learn how these student expectations bookend the readiness and supporting standards. We will then take the learning even deeper by identifying students' critical needs outlined in the PLAAFP and incorporating the process standards into standards-based IEP goals.
