In this AAC 101 session we will learn what Augmentative & Alternative Communication is, the different types of AAC, and the foundational skills to implement AAC with your students, including utilizing core & fringe vocabulary. Participants will be able to interact with a variety of AAC options, as we discuss ways to provide communication supports for students with complex access needs & autism.
