Staying Safe: School Safety Response Training

The Texas School Safety Center is proud to offer a new curriculum developed with Safe and Sound Schools and ALERRT that teaches student safety response options for incidents of violence. Based upon Safe and Sound Schools' curriculum and ALERRT's Citizen’s Response to Active Shooter (CRASE), this curriculum will be offered as a train-the-trainer session.

School districts will need to get its School Safety and Security Committee permission to allow staff to attend the training to learn how to offer this training at their district.

The target audience is district employees who receive permission from the District Superintendent/School Safety and Security Committee to attend.
