Breaking the Mold: Designing Structured Work Systems for Students with Disabilities

Attention to task, task completion, generalization, and independence are four things teachers strive for when working with students with cognitive disabilities. In this interactive session, participants will learn how to individualize & implement meaningful work systems to support students in mastering those four skills by utilizing inexpensive materials readily available in their classroom or home.

Participants will “think outside the box” to look at structured work systems in different formats and settings.
