The Science of Ranching Presented by ASOMBRO




In this session, 4th and 5th grade science educators will learn about ranching research currently taking place across the west investigating if technology and heritage breed cattle make ranching more economically and environmentally sustainable in our region. Participants will practice hands-on activities by experiencing standards-aligned science lessons that you can use in your classroom based on scientific research happening right now! This session was created and will be presented by ASOMBRO and the Southern Plains Climate Hub.

Lessons aligned to new TEKS!

Participants receive a $100 stipend and teaching kit.
