Ensuring Positive and Productive Classrooms
Classroom Management

Although it can seem challenging, teachers play the primary role in creating an environment that is inclusive and engaging for ALL students. For that environment to flourish, teachers need to Practice Prevention (rather than intervention) of behaviors that interrupt instruction

Teachers can accomplish amazing feats. when the appropriate strategies are implemented to improve the behavior in the classroom. At the end of this training participants will be able to: identify basic principles of behavior and understand their application in classroom management, maximize structure in the classroom, establish expectations and encourage students to follow these expectations, implement strategies to decrease inappropriate behavior, and differentiate levels of behavioral support as needed.
