Why/Teach
Help us grow future teachers for our Texas Panhandle Schools. This session is for high school students and will feature area college information, teacher testimonials, scholarship opportunities and benefits that come from a career in teaching.
These virtual modules will be LIVE from December 1, 2021 – March 11, 2022. The module links will be emailed to those who are pre-registered on or before December 1, or on the date of registration after they are LIVE.
Opportunity Plan is giving four $250 scholarships to help promote the Teaching Career.
Each student who views the modules will need to be registered and complete a survey after viewing the modules to be eligible for the scholarship drawing which will be held after Spring Break – on March 22, 2022. All attendees will be notified of the winners.
Education Credit Union is giving a “Teach” tote bag to each attendee who is registered, and these will be mailed to the teacher of the attending students from each high school.
